Freebie of the week: Shirt bookmarks

Hello, hello!! Jinjerup has some speedy shirt bookmarks just in case you guys need some quick Father's Day printables! ;) Here are some cute super easy shirt bookmarks, 6 cute little shirts, designed as working shirts, argyle vest-y and sporty types to suit your dads' fashion!

Note: Apart, from the blue, green and purple shirts, I've also created red, yellow and orange shirts, not photographed below as my printer has decided to print out all my yellows as muddy browns. Bad Printer!! Looks like I shall have to be going printer hunting soon :) You can still check out how the yellow/red/orange shirt bookmarks look like, scroll to my second image, have digitally created the image there :)

Pick your fave & let's begin!


I've also included some shirt bookmark templates for your little ones to color or design in dads' fave colors and patterns. Or they could even draw and color in his favourite football worldcup teams' shirt designs? :D

A list of items you'll need to make the bookmark:
1. Paper (of a preferably thicker stock)
2. Printer
3. Scissors
4. Box cutter (blade)


Here's a pictorial tutorial I've whipped up:


Have your materials at the ready!



Select and separate the bookmark(s) you want



Using your box cutter, snip along the inner sleeve outlines of shirt. This creates the flap for which the bookmark grips itself to pages.



Trim the off the excess white paper off the shirt & you've got your bookmark



Here's the grip area



Color in dad's fave colors to make these bookmarks special & personalized.
You could also write in your Happy father's day message too!



Add in a Happy Father's Day message at back of bookmark

hiatus

:) Hello my dearies, here's a short note about my absence in the coming 2 weeks! I shall be away from Jinjerup for a little while, finishing up on some ongoing projects plus figuring out how my new ones take shape.

Its an exciting time for me, learning how to handle and cope with multiple projects at once. No worries though, I'll be back soon enough, just in time for Father's Day!

Floweraid

Here's Jinjerup's last Mother's Day themed pattern for this year, introducing Floweraid. I'm not exactly sure why I chose the title Floweraid but it seemed kinda suitable :P I was trying out combinations of checkers and flowers when I came out with this new trio, a different take on flower patterns than the existing ones of Jinjerup's style. Hm..

Next month, Jinjerup shall be having 2 themes, the first being Father's Day and we're still trying to decide on the second! If you guys have any suggestions, we shall be more than happy to consider them! :D

Freebie of the week: May blossoms Note cards

As promised, this lovely blossom-y note card is Jinjerup's freebie of last week! :P Yes, you've read it right, last week! At least, I make up for the missing freebies, yes? :D I love the pretty pinks of this new note card, makes me want to repaint my walls pink again.

Funny how, I've always get pastel pink bedroom walls, in mostly every house I've lived in! Thus, for a change, when they were painting up our new house (then) I decided on a baby blue, for my current walls. Maybe I'm fated to be with pinks after all ;) I shall have to remember that when I purchase my own place.

Tea cup owls

I really love this next batch of patterns, the colors so tug at my heart strings :)
I had a fun time mixing and matching them!

Plus the funny thing is I keep saying TOWLs instead of tea owls, so I've decided to go with tea cup owls instead! :P The tiny darlings look so cosy in their little cups, quite adorable, yes? chuckle* I love me towls, especially the pink sherbet one at the bottom.
